FBW-SI-Fasern General Information

In addition to the standard Telekom GI fibers, variants with large core diameters are now available. The fibers are characterized by low attenuation values.

Variants

The following core diameters of the GI fibers are available

  • 50 µm
  • 62,5 µm
  • 85 µm
  • 100 µm
  • 200 µm
  • 400 µm
  • 600 µm

For mechanical protection of the fibers they are coated with a so-called buffer. Depending on the application, the following materials are available here.

  • Acrylate (-40°C bis +85°C)
  • Polyimide (-190°C bis +385°C)
