09/23/2020 | Dual-Wavelength Laser for Raman-Spectroscopy

OptoNano Software

A common problem in Raman spectroscopy applications is the fluorescence that occurs. Higher wavelengths reduce the fluorescence, but the sensitivity of the detector suffers. Raman concatenation overcomes these difficulties and allows to visualize the entire Raman spectra from 0 to 4000 cm-1 using Raman lasers with two excitation wavelengths with a single grating spectrometer and a single probe. In addition, an amplified signal is observed in the range >2000cm-1, which ensures greater quantitative accuracy.
