Laser Test & Measurement technology has experienced rapid development due to the high level of automation for modern production processes and the increasingly widespread use of lasers. Lasers make many more, and, above all, more precise production processes possible than ever before. In order to achieve the greatest levels of accuracy, it is essential to perfectly know and adjust the laser in use. For this purpose, different measuring instruments are available in the realm of Laser Test & Measurement technology.
Alongside the beam profile, the complete caustics and beam quality (M²) can also be measured. In addition, the position, the angle, and the focus position of the laser beam are important in order to be able to use the laser in the correct place. The wavelength and the pulse are also characterized. These kinds of measuring systems are used to evaluate and adjust lasers, and to thereby stabilize them in every way. These measuring methods are indispensable in production engineering and quality assurance, and are also ideally suited for research and development tasks.
M2 or Beam Quality factor is a dimensionless parameter that characterizes the degree of imperfection of a real-world laser beam. The lower the value of M2 , the more tightly the beam can be focused to a small spot.
A main feature of the WinCamD is the optional M2 Stage. Thus, it can be easily extended to a complete M2 measurement system.
Laser beam profiler with fiber optic taper for characterizing large laser beams up to 25 mm x 25 mm.
These C-mount connection flanges (ETCM) can be easily combined with CUB, EAM and all WinCamD attenuators.
This adapter plate is also available for the Beam Profiler BeamMap and BeamR 1st generation.
Based on the patented multi plane scanning technology the scanning system the BeamMap allows the measurement of focal position, beam diameter (according to ISO 11146), divergence and the M2 factor of different focussed cw or qcw laser beams in real time.
Extended version of the proven WinCamD with increased sensor resolution.
PolaStay™ polarization stabilizers actively maintain a stable output state of polarization (SOP) against rapid input SOP fluctuations, compensating for an input polarization discontinuity in as fast as 5 ms, or tracking without resets against a continuous input SOP rotation of up to 32π/s.
Extended WinCamD version with the highest resolution of this product family.
Laser Beam Profiler, which is ideally suited for multispectral THz laser beam analysis in the range of 3 THz to 20 THz.
